Cats in The House

Meow~

Gonna share about the frequent visit of cats to my house this year.

The first one was a feeble looking kitten which looked like he (i assume this kitten is a male la, but i didn't really check its gender -.-) haven't eaten for days and is feeling lonely because his mother cat has abandoned him.

I was shocked to find him there and I didn't know what to do at first. Then I see him so cham like that so I make some milk for him to drink. To my dismay, he didn't event drink a sip and then ran full speed of the gate -.-" waste my milk nia... I mean the milk i made for him haha.

The other incident which I managed to take a few photos is where I noticed something moving in the letter box then I found an adult cat staring back at me with its vicious eyes. Nearly shouted out loud because this cat have a killer stare. O.o

This cat has weird position and I found out after that she has a few kittens in the letter box as well. Because it was raining so she have decided to take shelter and somehow deliver her babies there.

Then a few days later I found out that she shifted to the empty cupboard. Wise move because looking at the tiny letter box how to fit all her three kittens + mother meow.

Its cute to see all her kittens fighting with each other for milk. Then me and jie gave names to them also ^^

The black and white - Bunny (because it resembled Bunny; fat and clumsy)
The light brown one - Fluffy (because it resembled Fluffy; cute and cuddly)
The white one in the middle - Zombeh (no reason we just want to name it that way :p)

Beastly 2PM are back with their second Japanese single, I'm Your Man.

Their music video has just been revealed recently. Dressed in black suits dancing sexily, I'm sure you would replay the video again and again ~~and again and again and again~~ ....

Oh did I mentioned that they used neckties in their dance as well?

Samantha Brown's Asia

During some time in July, I was one of the lucky person who was able to meet Samantha Brown in person at Hilton Hotel KL. Was invited by TianChad again huhu.

Samantha Brown is a television host for many travel shows. She has visited dozens of countries around the world. Watch her shows for tips and unique insights to each country she visits if you're one of those who have passion in travelling. Samantha Brown's Asia is on TLC (Astro Channel 707) every monday at 10 p.m.

Managed to play with some of the props there :D

Dinner provided during the event was indeed unique - we had food from Japan, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Bali.

BERRYBOW Charity Fashion Launch Party

Last June, I have attended a charity event with Tian Chad. It was BERRYBOW Charity Fashion Launch Party held at Grand Ballroom, Gardens Hotel & Residences KL.

BERRYBOW is an exclusive online fashion boutique which unique collection is exquisitely manufactured in Korea.

This charity event is in aid of Women's Aid Organization (WAO) where BERRYBOW pledged to donate 40% (RM 8400) of the ticket sales of this launch to them.

There were performances by Dennis Lau & Jimmy, Amanda Imani, May Lim, Atilia, and Vick Teo.

Not to forget the catwalk by Amber Chia and Amber Chia Academy students along with members of WAO.

Below are a few of the BERRYBOW fashion collection.

The catwalk was ended by Amber Chia, Michelle Chong (BERRYBOW's principal) and Ivy Josiah (Executive Director of WAO). =)

How to get perfect abs like SNSD Yuri

I'm sure many dream of getting sexy abs like Yuri from SNSD. If you are not sure who she is, this is Yuri from their latest Japanese album - Mr Taxi

Of all SNSD members, I personally felt that Yuri has the best curves; which according to Allkpop, she managed to achieve such a sexy build from her strict diet and rigorous exercise regimen. Her strict diet consists of:

50g of seasonal vegetables

150g of brown rice

five heads of broccoli

100g of chicken breast

As for her special exercises, Yuri simply did around 600 sit ups per day.

Errr... yeah, 600 sit ups... per... day... -.-"

So best of luck for those who are trying to get nice abs or anyone have some good tips to share here =)

Bloggers Day Out | Single to Mingle at Patio Bar and Lounge, Genting Highlands

Soon after the visit to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not, we had some free time to explore the First World Plaza. So, all of us decided to watch "Pirate Story 4D" show which cost RM8 per pax.

The show last about 15 minutes only and all of us felt slightly dizzy after the show. Maybe it was the movements from the chair + lack of oxygen in the theatre hall.

Before the Single to Mingle event, we planned to try the Genting Sky Venture but unfortunately it was fully booked.

And for those who love bowling, there is also Genting Bowl @ The First World Plaza.

So the finale of this Bloggers Day Out is the Single to Mingle @ The Patio Bar & Lounge. The bridge to the Patio Bar & Lounge was decorated with lovely heart-shaped balloons.

Dinner served at The Patio before the start of the event.

And of course the participants of the Single to Mingle. This event consists of nine pairs where they have to complete certain tasks to win.

Before the winners are announced, the couples are asked to play a game where the girl has to throw a thing and the guy has to catch it with his pants.
Some of the bloggers participated as well. Some did not hesitate to throw the durian to get more points but the organizer stopped them from doing so to prevent unwanted "injuries".

And finally the results are out. Congratulations to those who had won =)

We then managed to have a peek at the Wine & Whisky Bar at The Patio. It was very grand and classy which looked like a meeting place for ~~yakuza~~ important people. The reason it looked so grand and classy - its the place where they store all the exquisite liquor which all are very very very expensive. So expensive that I am afraid to go near it in case I broke any one of them =(

The very comfortable sofa there. After a long day in Genting, all of us were so tired that we wanted to sleep on it.

Right after our lunch, we went to the Haunted Adventure ~~where I closed my eyes most of the time~~ to experience some terrfying moments with some "ghost"

Next, after our Haunted Adventure we head to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! museum.

Here, you can see many astounding collections of oddities by Ripley.

One of the attraction of that month is the Fertility Statue. It is rumored that if someone touches these statues they will be more fertile as what the statue name says.

And this is TianChad who is unable to resist the temptation to touch those statues *tsk tsk*

This is the scary looking prison that were used in the olden days. There is just enough space for a person to be in it and imagine you have to spend the rest of your days there *claustrophobic*

The "World Luckiest Chair" which is rumored to give you lots of good luck. Praying hard here for uh... something ;)

And this, some of you might seen this before in TV, the genuine shrunken head. Wondering how a human's head can be shrunken to this size? Visit this museum to know more ;)

A mirror that will show distorted image of you. My eyes became bigger with it *blinks*

This is the world tallest guy. I am only half his height.

Oh yea! this amazing Frozen Shadow room. There is a board in the room where your shadow will stay for a few seconds after the flash. Its kinda nice to play where you can create a board full of creative looking shadows.

Our shadows - looks like a wall graffiti. Too bad the photo turned out to be blur.

Near towards the end of the museum, there is this place where will make you feel really dizzy after walking right through it. Wanna know why? Go experience it yourself. It is really worth the fun. =D

Just recently in February, me and a few other bloggers (Suresh, Dylan, Joshua, Allison, XeRoZ, Nicole, TianChad) was invited by Resorts World Genting for a Bloggers Day Out in Genting Highlands.

This is the Genting's Galleria where we were told about the history of Genting and were given tags that had our names on it *cool*

Right after the briefing, we were brought to Pedas Springs Spa where we will be given a foot and shoulder massage :D

We were given a tour around the place and it really really felt relaxing and I wanted to spend my entire day there but too bad we have other places to go to next T___T

Inside, they have a Signature Floating Spa Villa which was located outdoor where you can see Genting Themepark and the Lake.

There is also a private room for couples to enjoy their relaxing spa.

Right before our massage, me and Nicole were given a shorts to change. And this is how it looked like HAHAHA!

[Travel] Hatyai Part 2

I'm back with the continuation of my Hatyai trip. The very next day, me and some of my friends went for a day trip to several places around Trang, Thailand.
Our first stop was the Le Khaokob Cave. I was told that in order to pass through the cave, we must lie down flat in the boat. And I thought at first, hey its quite fun. Just a little bit different from the usual boat rides.

The beginning of our boat ride. Quite relaxing... until we reached the cave's mouth. We just have to lie down for a little while.

The real excitement of the this cave is actually at the end. After several stops inside the cave, we reached a place where the tour guide ask us to lie down flat on the boat. We were curious on what's awaiting us ahead as they ask us to keep any bulky stuff and store our cameras in a safe place. So the bad part here is that I can't share any photos when reaching to the end of the cave.

So after making sure everyone had lie down as flat as a pancake, we started entering a dark hole with water dripping on our faces. This was where we all started screaming like crazy because the walls and the stalactites was really low that it was barely a few inches away from our faces. And I feel that the tour guide there wasn't considerate enough. They row the boat real fast even though there are some places where we nearly hurt ourselves.

All of us were rather small sized and I wonder how some big sized ~~elephants~~ people pass through this part.

Another cave temple we visited. Most of the temples we visited were in a cave. It wasn't like those temples in Ipoh. Theirs was located deep inside the cave where we had to move between tiny spaces to reach there.

I guess that's why they have fans inside the cave to ventilate the area.

After much screaming and doing acrobatic moves in these caves, we finally had our lunch at a hill near Trang. I didn't manage to get the name of this place =(

During the night, we had to attend a "Gala Nite"
Their glass bottled soft drinks.

But I've decided to drink ~~Air Gajah~~ water instead.

[Travel] Hatyai Part 1

Recently in the beginning of January I got a chance to visit Hatyai. I was not informed of the itinerary of the travel and I just go with the flow along with everyone else in the trip. So let some of my photos do the story telling for this earlier part of my trip =)
Had my first lunch there at the "Sky Buffet" at 33rd floor of Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel. Food was okay but I did not manage to see the view like the photo here.

Hotel lobby which was located at the 10th floor. And to go to my room from the ground floor, I have to take a lift to the hotel lobby and then change another lift to my room which I find it kind of troublesome especially if you have heavy luggage.

Bought a Thailand sim card there. It looked more like an album cover instead of a sim card cover.

This is the floating market at Hatyai. You can find a variety of local food/drinks there. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try many and explore the place because it started to rained heavily when I was there.

During the night, I went to this Stainless Steel temple. A unique temple (made by steel, not sure what is its name in Thai) that has a shape of a cone.

This is the place where you can make a wish and throw a coin to the bowls located above. If within three tries you managed to throw your coin in, your wish will be granted. If you have failed to do so, it is believed that your wish is too hard to be achieved.

Well, I've managed to throw my coin in, lets see whether my wish will be granted or not... =p

Oh yea, if you wish to visit this temple, the entry is free but if you want a tour guide to bring you there the cost is about THB 200.

Something funny happened during my visit there - Before entering the temple, you have to remove your shoes. It so happened that it was raining and some of us decided to put our shoes in the van that brought us to the temple. After the visit when we came out from the temple to find that the van that had our shoes in it had left. Then we had realised that we put our shoes in the wrong van and had to return to the hotel bare-footed. Luckily, our tour guide knew the van driver and we found our shoes back at last...

Moral of the story: Do not put your shoes in a vehicle because you might not know whether it will still be there after that =p

[Movie] HomeComing

I went to watch "HomeComing (笑着回家) yesterday (tickets from UIP Malaysia), a must-watch movie for this coming Chinese New Year in my opinion. Jack Neo's movies are always hilarious and what I like most about it is the moral values that can be learned which reflects our society nowadays.

This movie shows the importance of going home to have reunion dinner on Chinese New Year's eve with family no matter what obstacles you might face on the way home. You can see that the younger generation feels that reunion dinner isn't something important and can be done during other days of the year while the older generation thinks that it is an important tradition that must be followed every year without fail.

Not to forget Ah Niu, Mark Lee and Afdlin Shauki jokes that will make you laugh till you drop =p

The year 2010 is coming towards an end soon. So how's your year? =)

I'm pretty sure this year had been an exciting one for many. For those that have uncompleted things/work this year, hurry up and finish it quickly before the year ends. And for those that encountered disappointments this year, not to worry next year would be a better year for you.

I can't really remember what I was doing around this time last year, maybe I was making a long list of new year resolutions which I doubt I have achieved every single one of them this year. Can't even remember what my resolutions are but I'm sure "becoming less emo" is one of them ;p

And surprisingly for this year, I've received a Christmas present! wheeee~
Look how cute this furry, big headed kuma is and no, his eyebrows are not Shin Chan-like (edited by MsXeRoZ dammit) and yes he's a male after I've done some intense body check huhu

Youth development NGO Raleigh International Kuala Lumpur is organizing an Introduction Weekend from 3rd to 5th of December 2010.

The Introduction Weekend aims to introduce Raleigh International Expeditions and is a prerequisite for potential Expedition venturers. Over 30,000 young people from different backgrounds and nationalities have gone through an Introduction Weekend and taken part in a Raleigh International Expedition including HRH Prince William who joined a Chile Expedition in 2000 as part of his gap year.

Below are the details of the camp:

3-day 2-night

open to all Malaysians aged 17 to 24

able to converse in English and preferably swim 200m unaided

fee of RM 55 will be charged before and on 7th of November 2010 (early bird)

fee of RM70 will be charged after 7th of November 2010 (normal rate)

Paramore Live in Kuala Lumpur

Went to Paramore concert which was held in Bukit Jalil last week.

Was surprised to see the crowd there. Didn't know they have so many fans in Malaysia.

Enjoyed their performance despite being tired and sleepy that night.

Liked "The Only Exception" the best especially with the fireworks on the stage =D

Went home before the concert ends and managed to see Paramore leave in their vans.

Dance Style 5th Anniversary Party

DANCESTYLE, a dance and exercise studio located at Plaza Damas will again hosting a grand recital this coming 31st October, 2010.

For this year, continuing from the popularity of the last year event, for sure we will be upgrading the performance stage and it is going to be held at Malaysian Tourism Centre (MaTiC) hall, which is located nearby KLCC.

You will be able to enjoy the performances not only from the most famous Kid’s Hip Hop groups but also the sexy Hip Hop, Break Dance, Belly Dance, Latin Dance & Japanese Wadaiko Drum etc.

This year’s special appearance will be the performance by a professional break dancer Mr. Azim, our DANCESTYLE instructor. He and his group (Wakaka) have just recently won the fabulous SHOWDOWN 2010 by the 8TV programme.

The collaboration performances between Wadaiko-Drum and Song-Dance at last year’s event will be back this year to dumbfound the audience once again.

The Sneaky and the Hamsap

This post is dedicated to all my beloved ~~binatang peliharaan~~ anak-anak patung which has been ~~collecting dusts~~ given to me...

Firstly, I am going to introduce this pink tortoise named Sneaky which looked as sneaky as its name. It was given (and named) by my dear cousins and had flew all the way from Aussie. I had no idea why this tortoise is pink in color (maybe Aussie's tortoises are pink =p) and below are a few pose of Sneaky the Pink Tortoise~

Its only the second week of my Fall semester and I am starting to feel the pressure from both sides- my work and my studies.

I thought arranging only a day per week of class and other days working would be alright for me. Since I chose two difficult subjects this semester. My hope of getting good results came tumbling down after they changed the lecturer last minute, meaning that I would get a strict lecturer for both of my subjects. How sad is that.

Assignments and projects are already given out during this week. Not to mention there are quizzes too. But I still can't get hold of any text books since they have not arrived to the college yet. How am I going to study for those quizzes. =O

Work is still acceptable since there's no exhibition now... But on the coming weeks, there'll be a few so i guess more work then. And I still have my internship report to be done OMG!

It is safe where I can go alone if my ~~piggy~~ sis is lazy to exercise :D

I can meet new friends ~~who loves to eat~~ there :D

Why Smartphones can be Dumbphones.

I was heading back to my home town by train, passing through outskirts of city on a long journey home. I do not feel comfortable sleeping all the way throughout my journey, so I usually enjoy looking at the scenery outside, thinking of what my friends and loved ones doing whilst having no connection to the Internet whatsoever.

A glance at my phone makes me to have this urge to go online and ~~stalk~~ to know updates of the people out there... but how lah, so EXPENSIVE!!! *cries*

Tossing my phone aside, I abandoned the idea of going online and spend the rest of the time watching people snore and the yawn over the repeated advertisements on the TV in the train, just because I am afraid of having to pay excessive amount of bill.

Frustrated, I was thinking what's the use of having a smartphone when you can't fully utilize it...

A smartphone that cannot be connected to the Internet is eventually a dumbphone!

Then upon reaching home, I noticed a friend who update his status almost every hour on Facebook

AND finally I found out that there is this thing called "DG SMART PLAN"

whereby with this plan you can set the Internet free for only RM68/month

So with this plan, I can connect to the Internet anytime and anywhere with my phone =)

I can gossip around in Facebook during my lunch time...

Just finished my final exams yesterday :D a month of holidays awaiting me!!!

Kononnya to release stress before the exam week, me and a few of my course mates went to watch "Ice Kacang Puppy Love" in Sunway Pyramid =p

This was a night before "The Movies" exam in McDonalds Taipan with Eugene and Katfrine...

yup yup... I'm going to Gatsby Deodorant Street Fair as they are launching their new product, the Deodorant Series which comes in deodorant perfume spray and roll-on deodorant =D

There will be lucky draws *prays hard* and various cool gadgets worth up to RM 15 000 for grabs!

Besides that, among the exciting fun-fair games on that day are Sumo Wrestling (in bag suits!), gladiator battles and other amusing and addictive games *would certainly want to try that* =D

Hullo, its been weeks since I last write a post. Chinese New Year week had been a great one, although there's still a little bit of "suayness" throughout this month. Remember in my previous post I mentioned that my hand phone somehow spoiled. Well, the following day my laptop KABOOM-ed after struck by lightning. And then, I did badly in my quiz in one of my subjects which eventually leads to a high level of emo-ness in me.
Living the past two weeks without a laptop was not an easy one. I used to spend most of my time online and merepek with my buddies and without it I really don't know what else can I do. I wanted to go lepak somewhere...anywhere but then I could not find any kaki lepaks, then I thought of doing some running since I'm so free before the CNY and yet again its even harder to find people to accompany me to run. Sigh...
So hopefully by next week I will have a computer as my assignments are piling up now (due soon too =( ). 2 on Marketing Cases, 1 on Marketing Research, 1 on Issues and Ethics and 1 more on The Movies. And to make things even worse midterm exam is around the corner =((.
Oh yea, another thing that made me sad was that I was looking forward for the Energizer Night Marathon and when I wanted to register the other day the 10KM category has already reached its limit =(. I don't think I will join the half marathon because I don't want to strain my poor ayam (what my friends called me) legs and injure them again. Hopefully I can get to join the Standard Chartered KL marathon, and hopefully I will be able to join the half marathon category with Kak Mishan...hwaiting! =P

Chinese New Year is around the corner, and I don't wanna get sick on that particular week =(

I have been not feeling well since last Friday.

The fever keeps coming on and off and dunno why me n jie vomited on last Tuesday *how come Fez Oppa nothing wrong one when 3 of us ate the same food for dinner*.

Jie woke me up after vomiting twice then after waking up i felt hungry and after having oats somehow i don't feel well also -.-.

Then when i wanted to go back to sleep suddenly i vomited as well -.- *ended up having to wash the toilet at 4 in the morning, but then jie didn't notice it can you believe it, all the vomiting must have made her so exhausted that she snored so loud after that LOL* Then after my fever subsided comes the runny nose pulak -.-

Oh yeah, sorry to those who have tried to contact me through my hand phone, after sms-ing Eugene my hand phone screen go blank and started blinking like disco lights and its unusable since then =(
